Okay, this is all you'll need to know about our policies regarding multiple characters. Failure to abide by any of this will result in disciplinary punishment.

Unlike a lot of sites out there, Our Heroes does actually allow multiple characters directly upon registration to the site. The restrictions for additional characters are a little different as well, as we intend on making the idea of a second character as more of an advantage, rather than something that isnt as great as you'd like it to be. First of all, you can have a total of five characters on the site total, but there are of course a few catches. You can make up to two characters directly after registering, and you can make them both at the same time if you so desire. However, in order to make a third, fourth, or fifth, you must have at least two weeks of decent activity, even if its as much as just hanging around in the chatbox, or posting on discussion boards rather than RP boards. That being said, you also do not need a certain number of posts in order to advance to additional characters either.

Now for some of the details concerning rank between additional characters. In total, only two of your five characters can have superhuman abilities, while the other three must have a regular civilian rank. Both of your first characters can fill these two ability spots, however you have to wait at least a week after having your first character approved before the second is allowed to have abilities. If your second character is not made with an ability, than any one of your other additional characters may have one. It is also possible to have a third character with an ability, but you must wait at least a month after already having two characters with abilities before this is allowed. In total, three of your characters total can have powers, while two at least have to be regular.

As a final note for anyone with the question on whether or not a seperate account should be made for additional characters, no is the answer. When you make an additional character, do it all in the same account, DO NOT make a second, third, fourth, or fifth. This keeps things much simpler, and anybody joining the site for the first time will not confuse one person for two in doing this. But at the same time, when you make more than one character, you must post something in your signature, it doesnt matter how small, that will help readers distinguish one character from the other. An example would be a guide which shows which text color the character uses when speaking, but anything you can think of is acceptable.
